Arts & Crafts

​

This class encourages children to work with a variety of materials—from natural elements like leaves, clay, and wood, to classic crafting supplies such as fabric, yarn, and watercolor paints. Each project is designed to foster creativity, patience, and joy, while subtly weaving in spiritual lessons about God’s creativity, stewardship, and the value of working with our hands. Whether painting a scene from Genesis, molding clay animals, or stitching a simple fabric cross, students will grow in skill. This class nurtures imagination.

Preserve Goodness: Canning Class

​

In this enriching and practical class, we will learn the art of canning. Through hands-on experiences with fruits, vegetables, and herbs, children will discover how to safely prepare and store wholesome foods using traditional methods that promote stewardship, gratitude, and sustainability.

As we explore the science and skill behind water bath and dry storage canning, students will also reflect on biblical principles of preparation, provision, and thankfulness—much like Joseph storing grain in Egypt or the Proverbs 31 woman who cares for her household with wisdom and foresight.

Roots & Faith: A Christian Gardening Class

​

In this enriching and grounding class, students will roll up their sleeves and dig deep—both in the soil and in their understanding of God’s creation. Gardening offers children a powerful way to connect with the rhythms of life, the value of hard work, and the joy of nurturing something from seed to harvest.

Through hands-on experiences, students will learn how to prepare soil, plant seeds, tend to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers, and understand the science behind healthy ecosystems. They’ll explore composting, pollination, seasonal planting, and the role of beneficial insects—all while cultivating patience, responsibility, and gratitude.

Nutrition Class

In this engaging, Scripture-rooted class, students learn to honor God by caring for their bodies with nourishing, whole foods. Through hands-on lessons and food tastings, children explore the basics of nutrition—fruits, vegetables, whole grains, clean proteins, hydration—and the importance of eating as close to God’s original design as possible.

With verses like 1 Corinthians 10:31 guiding the way, students gain practical skills like reading food labels and understanding where food comes from, all while growing in gratitude for God’s intentional design. This class nurtures strong bodies, thoughtful minds, and hearts that glorify God through healthy choices.

Raw Cooking for Kids

In this hands-on, Scripture-rooted class, students prepare wholesome, no-heat meals using God’s ingredients in their purest form. From smoothies and veggie wraps to energy bites and fruit salads, kids will chop, blend, and mix their way to delicious, nourishing creations.

As they learn about the benefits of fresh, living foods, they’ll also explore how eating well honors the body as God’s temple. Inspired by verses like Genesis 1:29, this class builds confidence, creativity, and a lasting appreciation for the way God designed food to fuel and heal us.

Music & Movement for Kids

In this high-energy class, children will explore the joy of worship and self-expression through music and movement. Students will learn to praise God with tambourines, piano, trumpet, violin, and their own voices and bodies!

Rooted in Psalm 150—“Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet... praise Him with the tambourine and dancing...”—this class invites children to experience worship in a fun, active, and engaging way. Through rhythm games, dance, guided listening, and hands-on practice with real instruments, students will gain musical confidence and coordination while developing a deep love for praising God.

Each session blends creative movement with musical instruction. 

Hearts Wide Open: Bible Class & Worship

 

In this vibrant and nurturing class, children are invited to deepen their relationship with Jesus through interactive Bible lessons, joyful worship, and heartfelt discussions. With hands lifted high and hearts wide open, students will experience the love of God in a way that is both age-appropriate and deeply meaningful.

Each session begins with a time of worship through song, dance, and sometimes instruments—encouraging children to express their love for God with freedom and joy. Worship is followed by engaging Bible stories brought to life through storytelling, role play, crafts, and Scripture memory.

​  Foraging:  From field to jar

​

In this hands-on, faith-filled students will journey through the beautiful process of harvesting and preserving. From foraging wild edibles and gathering herbs, to joyfully picking strawberries and blueberries from local fields, children will learn to see the earth as a generous and sacred classroom—filled with lessons in gratitude, stewardship, and provision.

Students will explore how to safely identify wild plants, learn the best times and ways to harvest fruits, and discover the joy of working with their hands. Once their baskets are full, they’ll transition into the canning kitchen, where they’ll prepare jams, preserves, and herbal infusions—learning the timeless skill of preserving God’s goodness for seasons to come.

¡Viva el Español! Spanish Class

​

In this joyful, hands-on class, students learn Spanish through songs, stories, games, crafts, and prayer—building vocabulary, conversation skills, and cultural appreciation in a fun, Christ-centered environment.

Rooted in verses like Revelation 7:9, children discover that learning a new language is a way to love others and celebrate God’s beautifully diverse world. This class nurtures communication, creativity, and a global heart for God’s kingdom.

Physical Education

​

Our Christ-centered P.E. program builds strength, coordination, and character through fun, active lessons. Students will enjoy baseball fundamentals, soccer, Pilates, outdoor games, and gym time—developing skills, teamwork, and confidence along the way.

With activities like relay races, obstacle courses, and stretching, children learn that movement can be both joyful and meaningful. Rooted in verses like 1 Corinthians 9:24, we teach that physical activity is a way to honor God and care for His temple.

We wrap up the year with a family-friendly Field Day—a celebration of growth, fun, and fellowship!

Stitched with Purpose: Sewing Class

​

In this creative, hands-on class, students will learn the art of sewing through beginner projects that build patience, skill, and confidence. From hand-stitching to simple machine work, children will craft items like pouches, bookmarks, and heartfelt gifts—developing fine motor skills and purposeful creativity.

Rooted in Proverbs 31:13, students discover how sewing reflects God’s care and creativity. With guidance from senior volunteers, this class also fosters intergenerational connection, respect, and community.

Together, we stitch more than fabric—we build character, faith, and joyful hearts.

Timeless Typing: Typewriter Class

​

In this unique, screen-free class, students learn to type on classic typewriters—building focus, rhythm, and intentionality with every keystroke. They'll practice proper technique while typing stories, letters, and Scripture, deepening their appreciation for words and communication.

Rooted in Proverbs 25:11, this class blends vintage tools with biblical truth, encouraging thoughtful writing and purposeful expression while nurturing creativity, discipline, and a love for language.
